Hi, I'm Alice!
I’m a UX designer focused on building intuitive, scalable products with meticulous attention to UI craft. I believe great design lives in the details and I bring that level of care to every project.
Collaboration is central to how I work. I value close partnerships with my peers, believing the best outcomes come from shared thinking and open dialogue. I design and prototype in Figma, work fluidly across Adobe, and approach each project with clarity, structure, and precision.
I am a confident user of:
Experience & Education
UX Designer, Ocado Technology
I joined Ocado as a UX Graduate in 2022 and have since been promoted twice, gaining experience across automated systems, ecommerce, and design systems. In my current role on the Ecommerce Customer Growth & Merchandising team, I lead native app component adoption, drive experimentation, contribute to design systems and accessibility improvements, and deliver full end-to-end UI redesigns.
Alongside my core role I love to get involved in extra-curricular initiatives. Whether it be organising a team social (I love spending time with them so much!), mentoring and running grad training sessions, or organising internal UX-focused conferences, I get involved in anything I can to help boost team culture and help sharing knowledge within the organisation.
Junior UX Designer, ORCKID
As part of my industry year at university, I had organised to spend 6 months working as a junior at ORCKID. Before getting this role, I never understood that UX & UI could actually be a day job. By the time my 6 months was up, I ended up staying an extra 3 because I loved both the work and the team so much. This role is the one that changed my entire career trajectory, and I'm so grateful!
Junior Product Designer, LUMA iD
As part of my industry year at university, I spent 4 months working at LUMA iD. In this role I was given the opportunity to work on projects for brands such as Ciroc and DB Schenker, where working alongside LUMA's dedicated and knowledgable employees vastly improved my design engineering knowledge and skill-set.
Product Design BSc, University of Leeds
I applied to Leeds on a whim, but when I got the interview for this course and went to see the city for myself, I knew I had to get a place. I absolutely loved my time here. I had so much fun, but also worked really hard and earned myself a First!
